  3. Our Internet connection has been swamped by Metafont transfers,
  4. so we've arranged for faster access to the Metafont file.
  5. If you *must* get it directly from this site, please be aware
  6. that our modem is not a fast one...
  7.  
  8. We're arranging for the software to appear on other archives,
  9. and for our FTP server to be mirrored transparently to a faster
  10. connection.
  11.  
  12. It is available at the moment from the CTAN archive server 
  13. ftp.shsu.edu, in directory 
  14.   
  15.   tex-archive/systems/mac/metafont/bluesky
  16.  
  17. as file "MAC_MF_0.66.sit.hqx", just under 3MB.  
  18.  
  19. This file will attempt to track the availability of Metafont 
  20. on other archive servers.
  21.  
  22. We regret the limitations of our server, and hope you'll be
  23. able to find Metafont on a better-connected archive.
